How the vault works

Nothing spoils in here. Food, medicine, anything with a timer — the clock stops the moment it is stored and starts again when you take it out. That is deliberate, not an oversight: the vault is a fridge that never loses power, and it is most of what a slot is worth.

Storing pulls items out of your bag next time you are in game; taking them out delivers them back the same way, within a minute. One slot holds one kind of item in any amount. Gold does not take a slot — it has its own bank, below, and the same one the market screen uses.
